World Championships Replace Day 1: Kanak Jha and Three US Ladies Advance

The opening day in Houston noticed Spherical of 128 motion in each Males’s and Ladies’s Singles.

To date, matches haven’t included the highest seeds – who all had byes from the primary day’s motion.  In Males’s Singles, the gamers with byes included Fan Zhendong, Lin Gaoyuan, Liang Jingkun, Hugo Calderano, Lin Yun-Ju, Mattias Falck, Timo Boll, and Tomokazu Harimoto.  In Ladies’s Singles, the gamers with byes included Chen Meng, Jeon Jihee, Kasumi Ishikawa, Cheng I-Ching, Wang Manyu, Mima Ito, Hina Hayata, Wang Yidi, Feng Tianwei, and Solar Yingsha.
